I hope you all enjoyed last week’s Land Animal Worksheet Pack!
Don’t forget–for the next few weeks, I’ll have the Rock Cycle Board Game (described in my Geology Worksheet Pack post) as a subscriber freebie, so sign up for the weekly updates and I’ll send it your way!
This week’s theme in our lovely preschool and kindergarten worksheet series is FISH!

If you don’t have Amazon Prime, we love it. Lots of videos (like the Gruffalo and Peg + Cat) plus one and two day shipping?
Yep. It’s awesome.
Here’s an affiliate link if you’d like to check it out.
Fish in real life aren’t my thing, really, but cartoon-y fish are fun! And so cute for preschool/kindergarten skill building!
This worksheet pack includes:
- What is a Fish? (Tracing)
- Mammal/Fish Sort
- Big/Small Circling
- Fish Life Cycle
- Parts of a Fish
- Fish Subtraction (2)
- Fish Counting (2)
- Color by Letter
Another 10-worksheet one! And can I just say, there’s so many goodies in this one.
I might expound on the jellyfish/starfish/clam clipart. Meaning, make them into their own worksheet pack. What do you think?
Here’s what you came for though:

Our three favorite Fish books! (Affiliate links included.)
Another one I grew up on, which became especially memorable when I moved to Cape Cod as a teenager–suddenly, all the place names meant something! A fun story about a fisherman and a whale, full of onomatopoeia (my favorite), and it lays the groundwork for a discussion on fish vs. mammals.
A classic! Less of a fish book than a rhyming book, but still. It’s great for beginner readers too.
It has SHINY SCALES!! Need I say more? This book is beautiful and wonderful, and, again, one I remember reading as a kid. Love love love.
Don’t forget to share on Pinterest! Thank you in advance, you’re awesome!
Next week is my Ocean Worksheet Pack! See you then!
